Athletic and Wellness Center in shape for March 28 opening

A grand opening celebration will be held for the campusís new Athletic and Wellness Center at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28. The 57,000-square-foot addition to the Elting Gym houses two cardiovascular and weight training fitness centers and an elevated, 1/9th-mile indoor track designed to serve the athletic needs of the 8,000 students and 1,600 faculty and staff that make up the college community. All are welcome to attend.

Personnel Task Force to offer information sessions March 31

The Personnel Task Force is sponsoring open forums to be held simultaneously beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 31, in the Teaching and Learning Center and the adjacent Honors Center, College Hall-H, rooms 111 and 113; participants may join in at any time up to 1 p.m. Presenters will summarize the task forceís work and discuss ideas to improve current processes and enhance transparency related to evaluation of candidates for reappointment, tenure, promotion and salary increases. Library Week to be held at Sojourner Truth Library

The Sojourner Truth Library will celebrate National Library Week, from Monday, April 3, to Friday, April 7. Events are free and will take place in the library, unless otherwise noted. For more information, contact Susan Kraat at x 3705.
