Engineering Day soars with record attendance
Associate Dean David Clark (left) and Dean John Harrington (center) of the School of
Science and Engineering look at a model of NASA’s Mars Rover at Engineering Day on
Feb. 21. More than 1,100 middle and high school students attended the college’s fifth
annual event to meet scientists and engineers like Diane Bollen (not pictured) of Cornell
University and the NASA Mars Rover science team. Bollen brought the model, which was
on display in the Elting Gymnasium with more than 40 other engineering company kiosks.
