SUNY New Paltz Career Center offers e-recruiting

03/27/2006

NEW PALTZ -- The Career Resource Center at the State University of New York at New Paltz has launched a database called e-Recruiting that allows employers to communicate with students via the Internet.

Through the site (http://newpaltz.erecruiting.com), employers can post an unlimited number of internships and part- and full-time job opportunities for SUNY New Paltz students to peruse. Employers can also access student resumes, as well as schedule on-campus recruitment sessions and interviews.

Dawn McCaw, assistant director of the Career Resource Center at SUNY New Paltz, said in its first two months of operation the new site has 240 employers listing 623 job and internship opportunities.

The service is free for both students and employers.

Employers interested in more information should contact Dawn McCaw at (845) 257-3237 or mccawd@newpaltz.edu.
