Preview day kicks off SUNY Used Book Sale

NEW PALTZ -- The Friends of the Sojourner Truth Library at the State University of New York at New Paltz will open their fall Used Book Sale with a special preview day from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28. Thousands of books will be available for sale in the library lobby. Hard covers will sell for $2, paperbacks for $1 during the preview. Books will be replenished continuously all day.
The regular sale will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 29, and will continue through Dec. 9 during all library hours. Hard cover books will be $1, paperbacks 50 cents each. All proceeds benefit the college library.
Books at the sale cover all subjects and additional books are added to the sale each day. All books sold have been donated to the Friends of the Library "Books for Books" program by college faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members. Since 1998, "Books for Books" has raised more than $27,000 for Sojourner Truth Library.
