SUNY New Paltz adds 23 new full-time faculty

NEW PALTZ -- The State University of New York at New Paltz welcomed 23 new full-time faculty members to its teaching roster for the fall 2005 semester. The new hires will fill teaching positions in a variety of different departments throughout campus.
"This group of new faculty not only has impressive credentials but also brings to our campus a wealth of relevant experience and academic accomplishment," said Dr. David K. Lavallee, provost at SUNY New Paltz. "We're very excited to have them here with us as colleagues and teachers."
The new faculty members include: Jinho Kang (Philosophy); Reynolds Scott-Childress (History); Maureen Casper (Communication Disorders); Sarah Wyman (English); Thomas Festa (English); Kent Smith (Music); Kerry Dean Carso (Art History); Christopher Link (English); Megan Coder (Library); Margo Mankus (Elementary Ed); Gregory Bray (Communication and Media); Matthew Jakerbyrne (Sociology).
