Office of the Provost appoints new executive assistant

NEW PALTZ -- The Office of the Provost at the State University of New York at New Paltz has announced the appointment of Mary Beth Collier as the new executive assistant to the provost.
Collier comes to New Paltz from Mount St. Mary College, where she served as the associate dean of students from 1995 until her appointment at New Paltz. She also served as the director of counseling and career development at Mount St. Mary.
Collier is entirely SUNY educated. She received her master's degree in counseling and her certificate of advanced studies in personnel services from SUNY Albany, and her undergraduate degree in anthropology from SUNY Potsdam. She is currently a doctoral student in educational administration and policy studies, with a concentration in higher education, at SUNY Albany.
Collier lives in the City of Newburgh with her family.
