Gala "Celebrating New Paltz" to continue
03/11/2004
NEW PALTZ -- Building on the great success of the "Celebrating New Paltz" inaugural gala evening at the Mohonk Mountain House, which raised more than $20,000 last November, the Gala Steering Committee at the State University of New York at New Paltz is already planning this year's event, to be held Nov. 21.
The second annual black-tie-optional gala will focus on "educating minds and bodies," supporting the SUNY New Paltz recreational program and the "Field of Dreams" project for the Town of New Paltz. Proceeds will also add to the scholarship endowment established after the 2003 event, to support New Paltz students attending SUNY New Paltz.
