Presidential search process continues

NEW PALTZ- The New Paltz Presidential Search Committee and the New Paltz College Council have continued their work to find a College President for New Paltz, according to Kenneth J. Abt, Chair, New Paltz Presidential Search Committee, and Chair, New Paltz College Council.
On Monday, May 23, the College Council met to review the Search Committee’s recommendation and to review feedback from the campus community about presidential candidate Donald Christian.
The College Council will communicate its findings to SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher, who will determine the next steps in the process of identifying the next president for the College.
Christian, who has served as interim president since July 1, 2010, will remain in that position until a new president joins the campus.
