Presidential finalist Mary Papazian withdraws her candidacy

NEW PALTZ- The following statement is being sent on behalf of Kenneth J. Abt, Chair of the Presidential Search Committee and Chair of the New Paltz College Council:
We have learned today that presidential candidate Mary Papazian, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Lehman College, Bronx, NY, has decided to withdraw from the New Paltz Presidential Search.
The search committee is continuing its work and will be bringing another candidate to campus next week.
