Dr. John Schreiber announces his withdrawal from New Paltz Presidential search

NEW PALTZ - "We were disappointed to learn over the weekend that presidential candidate, Dr. John Schreiber, M.D., MPH, Chairman, Department of Pediatrics, Tufts University School of Medicine and Chief Administrative Officer, Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts, has communicated to Chancellor Nancy Zimpher and the New Paltz Search Committee that he is withdrawing from the presidential search.

A decision has not yet been made regarding the New Paltz search. In my role as Chair of the Search Committee, I will be meeting with members of the Chancellor's senior staff later this week, after the SUNY Board of Trustees meeting, to discuss next steps." announced Kenneth J. Abt, Chair, New Paltz Presidential Search Committee, and Chair, New Paltz College Council.
