Celebrating New Paltz Gala is sold out

11/07/2003

NEW PALTZ -- The Celebrating New Paltz Gala scheduled for Sunday evening, Nov. 23, at the Mohonk Mountain House, has completely sold out.

This was announced by Karl Rodman, chair of the event, who wishes to thank everyone in the community -- ticket and table purchasers, journal sponsors, auction donors and members of the hard-working volunteer committee for their tremendously generous support.

The Gala, which celebrates both the 175th and 325th anniversaries of the college and the town respectively, will feature fine food, regional wines, music by Betty MacDonald with Marc Black and the Heartbeats, a silent auction and historical anecdotes -- in short, an evening to remember!

The event will raise funds for a scholarship endowment for New Paltz students to attend the college.

A waiting list for tickets has been started. To be added to the waiting list, please contact Sally Cross, Director of Development at SUNY New Paltz, at (845) 257-3238.
