Community and College Health Fair Set For SUNY New Paltz

NEW PALTZ -- The Work Place with Heart Program at the State University of New York at New Paltz will sponsor a Health Fair on Tuesday, November 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Student Union Building. The program is open to students, faculty and staff as well as community residents.

The Health Fair will focus on improved health, nutrition, fitness and personal safety. Joe Owens, professor emeritus of health and physical education, an expert in physical fitness and a member of the Sports Illustrated Speakers Bureau, will deliver a lunchtime keynote address at 12:00 noon. There will be free blood pressure screening, hearing tests and chair massage.
