Golf tournament to raise money for student scholarships

NEW PALTZ -- The State University of New York at New Paltz Foundation will hold the Ninth Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on Monday, June 18, at the Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston. Proceeds from the event will go toward a scholarship endowment for SUNY New Paltz students.
Registration and breakfast for this year’s tournament begin at 8 a.m. and the shotgun start of the four-person scramble format takes place at 9 a.m.
The $200 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, refreshments on the course, beverage carts, event logo gear and a gift bag. Each player is eligible for awards, contests and prizes that will be awarded at a banquet dinner at 3 p.m. in the Wiltwyck Golf Club Ballroom.
Golfers can register as individuals or in teams of up to four players. Registrations need to be received by June 1.
The event will be held rain or shine and is sponsored by Campus Auxiliary Services Inc., Follett Higher Education Group, Anaconda Sports, Hall Partnership Architects LLP, Carrier, Ikon.5 Architects and Steamplant Systems. Beverages are provided by Pepsi.
