Sojourner Truth Library to Hold Used Book Sale
11/17/1999
NEW PALTZ -- The Sojourner Truth Library at SUNY New Paltz is holding a used book sale in the library through December 3. The sale hours are concurrent with those of the library.
"There are books on every imaginable subject for incredibly low prices," said Barbara Petruzzelli, assistant to the director. She said that the library planned to continuously add books to the tables throughout the length of the sale. "People should be able to find books for gift-giving as well as for vacation reading," she added.
All books are from private "Books for Books" donors. Hard cover books will be sold for $1.00 and all paperbacks for fifty cents. Proceeds will benefit the Sojourner Truth Library. The sale is sponsored by the Sojourner Truth Library and The Friends of the Sojourner Truth Library.
The library is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24 and will reopen at 1 p.m on Sunday, November 28. It will be open until 9:30 p.m. on November 28.
