2018 NEAM Conference

NEAM 2018

NEAM 2018

The 3rd Annual NEAM (Northeastern Analysis Meeting) will be held at the State University of New York at New Paltz, October 19-21, 2018.

As with the inaugural NEAM two years ago at the College at Brockport, and the second NEAM at the University at Albany, the idea is to have a rotating Northeastern analysis conference in October that complements the well-established rotating SEAM (Southeastern Analysis Meeting).

We are anticipating nearly fifty contributed talks by participants as well as a poster session focused on undergraduate and graduate student work, a conference banquet, and a short excursion to the nearby Mohonk Natural Preserve.

The registration deadline, if you are requesting support, is September 15th. If you are not requesting support, the deadline is October 1, 2018.

The contributed abstract submission deadline is October 1, 2018.

Funding will be available to cover local travel expenses for a limited number of participants. Presenting graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and members of underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply. The support is subject to NSF regulations and immigration requirements.

More details to come!

We hope to see you in New Paltz in October!
