Susan Seligman is the cello instructor and teaches the Sight-Singing and Ear Training Sequence, Basic Music Theory, and Introduction to Music. She organizes the concert series offered by the School of Fine and Performing Arts and the music department. She is a member of the Hudson Valley Philharmonic String Quartet, in residence at SUNY New Paltz. Ms. Seligman is principal cellist with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, the regional professional orchestra which performs on campus at least once a season. She is a founding member of the HVP String Quartet, the Innisfree Piano Trio, and the Poné Ensemble for New and American Music.
