Chamber Performing Ensembles
Chamber music is an important part of the curriculum at New Paltz. In addition to a number of vocal and instrumental groups open to students, including the Chamber Singers and various chamber jazz ensembles, there is an organized chamber music component of the applied music program. Students registered for applied music also have four required sessions each semester which involve chamber music performance. Chamber ensembles are organized according to curricular needs of students.
