| Analida Burgos was born in 1949 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. From 1967 to 1971 she studied art in the Departamento de Bellas Artes at the Universidad de Puerto Rico and from 1971 to 1976 at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas at the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña, where she pursued graphic design.
