We strongly recommend that you arrange a visit to SUNY New Paltz for an interview. We generally conduct interviews by appointment on Wednesdays before noon, and we encourage applicants to meet with other grad students in the afternoon. Other dates can be scheduled by appointment. Visiting the school provides a good sense of the program through firsthand observations and interactions with faculty and students. Visits should occur before February 15.
