ABOUT CODE OF CONDUCT
|
About the NPRFC The New Paltz Mens Rugby Football Club has been a fixture on campus since 1985. It is the only Division I collegiate club team at SUNY New Paltz. This organization is entirely student led without the aid of coaches, administrators, or scholarships. It provides a new and competitive venue for the students that attend SUNY New Paltz. The team annually vies for the METNY championship against larger schools and has established a solid conference-wide reputation for winning. Currently, the team has partnered with Kingston High School in the development of their rugby program, which was started by an alumnus. The players have been involved in many volunteering activities this past year including: New York Blood Center Blood drives, Taste of New Paltz, Veterans for Peace, and an Annual sponsored Rugby undergraduate scholarship. The team is currently bound by a code of conduct that all players must adhere to. The team holds practices and games on the intramurals east field located next to Lenape Hall.
