1. When is the application deadline?
The School of Business has a rolling admissions process for applications. What this means is we will keep accepting students until we are full. Recommended deadlines are as follows:
· May 1st for fall
· August 1 for spring
We do not recommend students begin the program during the summer, since courses are offered in an accelerated session.

  2. When can I start the program?
Students can be matriculated in the fall, spring or summer.

3. Are students required to take the GMAT?
A satisfactory test score on the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required.

4. Do you have fellowships, assistantships, or scholarships for graduate students?
We have a very limited number of graduate assistantships. They are only available to students accepted to the program and currently taking courses in the MBA program. These cannot be distributed or guaranteed to students prior to admission or arrival to New Paltz. Students apply for one directly to the Dean of the School of Business by providing a written letter and resume.

There are limited scholarships available to graduate students. For scholarship opportunities, please visit the Graduate Student Scholarship and Funding website.

5. Is any financial aid available?
See the financial aid page.

6. How long will it take for me to complete the MBA program?
The answer to this question depends on whether you have completed a bachelors degree in business or a business related field. If you have a degree in business you may be able to be waived from some of the MBA foundation courses, thereby taking a shorter time to complete the program. If a student is waived from all foundation courses it should take approximately a year and a half to complete the program, if attending full-time.

7. What is the cost?
See the tuition and fees page.

8. Can I attend Part-time for Full-time? When are courses offered?
Currently our MBA courses are offered in three different time slots. They are:
· 2 days per week 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm
· 1 day per week 6:30 pm - 9:20 pm
· Seven consecutive Saturdays approximately 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. (accelerated)

9. How do I get my I20?
See the Center for International Programs page

10. How many courses should I take each semester?
Students can attend the program full (a minimum of four courses or 12 credits) or part time. International students are required to be enrolled full time.
