Professor Michael Adams has been at New Paltz for over 30 years, and was named a SUNY Distinguished Professor in 2003. He also served three years as chair of the combined Mathematics and Computer Science department.

Professor Sunday Chikwendu came here in 1985, and had a major influence on our Calculus curriculum. He was rapidly promoted to Full Professor, and later served three years as department chair.

Both retire this month, and will be sorely missed.
