Fourth Annual Spuyten Duyvil Undergraduate Math Conference a Great Success

The Fourth Annual Spuyten Duyvil Undergraduate Mathematics Conference was held at SUNY New Paltz on April 25. Over 160 people from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Vermont attended the meeting. There were talks both from students and faculty ranging over an impressive variety of topics. A poster session and Panels on Graduate School, Undergraduate Research and Careers in Mathematics concluded the event.
As importantly, in the intervals between talks and during the lunch break students had the opportunity to meet colleagues and professors from other institutions, possibly starting collaborations that could have long reaching consequences in their future careers.
