Saturday, April 4th - School of Science and Engineering Open House

The School of Science and Engineering at the State University of New York, New Paltz is pleased to announce an open house for 2009 accepted students. The event will be held on Saturday April 04, 2009 in the Coykendall Science Building (CSB) (please see Campus map) from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM.
Reception to take place in the Coykendall Science Building Lobby from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Refreshments will be provided.

Mathematics will be in CSB 154, and will have two separate presentations.
The first will be 12:30-1:00, and is intended for Mathematics majors.
The second will be from 1:30-2:00, and is intended for Mathematics Education majors. (Elementary and Secondary Education will be in the lobby of Lecture Center (LC). Students interested in an Education major should go there first, and then come to CSB around 1:00.)
We will also be available for informal questions. Please feel free to stop by and say “Hi”.
In case you are interested in other science majors, a general presentation will take place in the CSB Auditorium from 12:15 – 1:00 PM for the following majors: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Geochemical Science, Geological Sciences, and Physics.
At the open house, faculty and current students will provide you with comprehensive information about the academic quality of our programs, options within the major, undergraduate research opportunities, and potential careers for our graduating students.
