A Fundamental Mathematician

After twenty-four years of service to the College, Professor Silberger retired in May. He is a tireless researcher who often works on unusually accessible questions, talking about them to anyone who is interested. He has coauthored numerous papers with students and colleagues; many of his students have gone on to earn advanced degrees.
