Class Conflict - and how SUNY New Paltz students control their own destiny

Three alert students, Christina Apatow, Ian Ralls and Syed Zaeem, helped avert a collision! In the Fall 08 schedule, General Physics 2 was going to conflict with both sections of Calculus 3.
O.K., that’s not a car crash, but there would have been frustrated students who wanted to take both classes at once. We were able to move one of the Calculus 3 sections, and General Physics 2 moved a lab.
The moral is: If you see something you don’t like in the posted schedules, let the departments know immediately. They may not be able to change it anyway, but they certainly won’t be able to once students start registering in April.
