Undergraduate Math Conference
01/27/2009
The Spuyten Duyvil Undergraduate Mathematics Conference is being held at New Paltz this year. It will run all day Saturday, April 25th, 2009. We plan on over 100 participants, with a large number of short talks and poster presentations from students and faculty.

We have arranged for Richard Askey to speak in the middle of the day. He is a prominent mathematician who is also active in mathematics education; the talk will be free and open to all.
Students interested in doing research and presenting talks or posters should contact professors Hobby or Dominici. (The deadline for registration and abstract submission will be around the start of April.) The official webpage for this year’s Conference is currently under construction, at http://www.newpaltz.edu/math/sdumc
