Math Graduate Wins Prestigious Fellowship

Jacob Prairie is graduating this month with a BS in Mathematics. He has been accepted as a Newton Fellow by the Math for America organization. The fellowship comes with a full scholarship and generous stipend to obtain a Master's degree in Education and New York State Teaching Certification. Fellows commit to a five-year program that includes one year of full-time graduate study and four years of teaching mathematics in New York City secondary schools.
Jacob will be attending The Teacher's College at Columbia University. Congratulations!
