Department of Mathematics

Programs > Undergraduate > Mathematics/BA or BS in Adolescence Education

This degree is offered in collaboration with the School of Education and the Department of Secondary Education. There is a strong mathematical component almost equivalent to the BA/BS degree in mathematics itself, along with supervised student teaching and required courses in education. Upon completion of the program, the student can receive provisional New York State certification as a mathematics teacher for grades 7 through 12.
