Research/Creative Activity

Primary interests: the history of mathematics in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, especially the history of analysis; rhetoric of international cooperation and communication in mathematics and science; the history of mathematical journals and congresses; notions of "generality" in mathematics; the circulation of mathematical knowledge and mathematical practices.
