The College Theatre houses the offices of the departments of theatre arts and art history, as well as McKenna Theatre. The theatre is named in honor of Dr. Rebecca McKenna, a beloved professor of English and drama and developer of today's theatre arts program. McKenna Theatre is a 376-seat proscenium arch theatre featuring a computerized light board. On the lower level is the scene shop and other technical facilities. College Theatre also houses the art history department's Visual Resource Library of 80,000 slides of works of art; CD-ROMS's and videos on art and art-related subjects; and a computer lab for retrieval and study of digitized images of works of art and architecture. ![]() |
