SUNY New Paltz is the thirdlargest employer in Ulster County, behind Ulster County Government and the Kingston City School District. SUNY New Paltz employs 1,378 people, full- and part-time. This includes all state, Research Foundation, Sodexho, Follett, and Student Association employees. Pos itions include faculty, staff, adjuncts, students, graduate assistants and temporary service employees. The college also hires 2,000 work-study students annually.¹
