Excluding wages, New Paltz expenditures were 8,900,000. These expenditures came from the college, Campus Auxiliary Service (CAS), Sodexho food service, Follett bookstore, Research Foundation (grants, etc.), SUNY New Paltz Foundation (charitable donations), SUNY Construction Fund, CAS agency accounts and Student Association monies paid to vendors for telephones, computers, construction, and supplies and services. Thirty-six percent of expenditures $13,900,000) were paid in the Hudson Valley and 66 percent ($25,500,000) were paid in New York State. These expenditures led to an impact on output of $25,900,000 in the Hudson Valley and $50,800,000 in New York State, and an employment impact of 208 jobs in the Hudson Valley and 431 in New York State for a total of 639 jobs.
