There are more than 51,500 working-age New Paltz alumni age 65 and younger. These alumni generated $921.6 million in value-added earnings—above what they would earn with just a high school diploma— during the 2008-2009 academic year. The College estimates that 44% of these value-added earnings ($403.7 million) were earned in the Hudson Valley region with 71% ($654.3 million) in New York State.
