Climate Change Hits Home

350.org, a grassroots campaign which focuses on stopping the climate crisis, held an event in Hasbrouck Park on Oct. 24 to raise awareness on carbon dioxide levels in the Earth’s atmosphere.

At 18-years-old Eddie Devitt was a passenger in his friends car when they collided into a toll booth on the Newburgh- Bacon Bridge. A sole survivor of this drunk driving accident, Devitt talks about the accident and his road to recovery in this interview with reporter Kristen Pavich.
