DATES AND FEES 2008
Intensive weekend courses with an emphasis on the development of conversational skills.

Arabic, Chinese, Czech, Dutch, English(ESL), French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Sign(American), Spanish, Swedish, Ukrainian and Yiddish.

All languages and levels are offered at each session. Sufficient enrollment is required. Weekends are offered at the following locations:

Immersion weekends on campus at the State University of New York at New Paltz:

• May 2-4
• June 6-8
• July 11-13
• July 25-27

Instruction Fee: $350 per weekend

Housing: A list of local accommodations is available. College housing is open to participants in June and July only.

NEW YORK CITY

Immersion weekends in NYC are held at the Affinia Dumont Hotel, 150 East 34th Street between Lexington & 3rd.

GENERAL WEEKEND INFORMATION

Schedule:

Friday 7pm-9:30pm

Saturday 9am - 5:30pm

Sunday 9am-2pm

Meals: Meals are not included and are at the expense of the student. Coffee and refreshments are served Sunday morning.

College Credit: One undergraduate college credit can be earned for each weekend upon successful completion of an exam. An additional $75 examination fee is required.

Please Note: Language sections may be cancelled because of insufficient enrollment. Whenever possible, participants will be enrolled in alternate classes. Students cancelling less than two weeks in advance will not receive a refund.
