Language and Level Requirement

• You must be at least an advanced beginner to begin a course at ELFCA.

• Maximum of 12 students per class, four hours per day, five days per week. (8:30-12:30, and afternoon options twice a week from 1:30-2:30pm).

• Designed for highly motivated students who need to learn French in a short period of time. The course is two weeks at 30 hours per week. it includes a four hour a day group instruction and two hours of private lessons.

• An internationally recognized Diplome de Langue Française can be earned. Preparation for this exam is on average 6-10 weeks for advanced speakers, 10-18 weeks for intermediate speakers, and 22 weeks for elementary students. Examination fees are not included in the course price. They are to be paid at the Institute when registering for the exam.

• 3 college credits per two week course are available to students who complete any of the above programs.

• A certificate showing the length of the course, attendance, participation, and the level achieved will be given.

• Maximum of 12, and an average of 8 to 10

• Choose between carefully selected host families, furnished apartments or a hotel.
• Host families will meet the student free of charge at either Toulon airport, or the Toulon railway station upon request. Please furnish ELFCA with the exact time, date and place of arrival. Arrival with host families are available on the Saturday or Sunday before the class begins, and the expected departure is the Saturday after the class ends.
