Student Activities

Student Activities at New Paltz are planned and organized by students! The Student Association encourages and funds students who want to start their own organizations. SUNY New Paltz has traditionally had a number of student organizations of cultural interest which sponsor social and educational programs including the Asian Student Association, Chinese Association, Latin American STudent Union, and the Caribbean Club among others.

In addition to the cultural clubs, there are associations which focus on sports, arts, religion, academics, and anything else that students might have an interest in. Joining a student organization is a great way to learn new skills and meet new people.

The Office of Student Activities and Union Services, located in the Student Union Building Room 211, (845) 257-3025 and the Student Association, located in the Student Union Building Room 315, (845) 257-3098, can provide information on the activities of the various student organizations.
