6:00 - 7:30 p.m. New Paltz Showcase, highlighting the research and creative activity of
New Paltz students and their faculty mentors, Lecture Center South Lobby
7:30 p.m. Liberal Education and the 21st Century Global Economy
Distinguished Speaker,
Debra Humphreys, Vice President for Communications and Public Affairs at the Association of American Colleges and Universities, Lecture Center 100
Faculty Panel Discussion follows

Friday, April 13th

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Dorsky Museum Special Hours - museum opens at 9:00 a.m.
2:30 p.m.
Inaugural Ceremony Studley Theatre (by invitation only)
Webcast of event in Lecture Center 100 (open to the public and available online during and after the event)

Tickets will be sold for each event separately.

4:00 p.m. Benefit Concert, Vladimir Feltsman, internationally renowned pianist, founder and artistic director of PianoSummer Institute and Festival, Studley Theatre *
6:00 p.m. Patrons' Reception following, Student Union Multipurpose Room *

Sunday, April 15th

4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Student BBQ and Carnival, Hasbrouck Quad (Rain Site: Hasbrouck Dining Hall)
The Residence Hall Student Association to host a student celebration for the President's Inauguration.  Food served from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. with student mealplan.

* Consider sending a SUNY New Paltz student to hear Vladimir Feltsman perform at the Benefit Concert by purchasing an extra ticket. (Please note: Your donation will be tax deductible, unless you choose to name the particular student you would like to sponsor.)

Funds raised at this event will be used to support music, theatre, artistic, and other cultural events and activities that enrich the experience of students.
