JOB ASSIGNMENTS & DESCRIPTIONS, ARRIVAL TIMES, LOCATION, AND MARSHAL LEADERS
WHERE CAN EMPLOYEES, STUDENTS FAC/STAFF PARK ON DAY OF INAUGURATION?
Employees/students and others may want to park in the Route 32 Lot (Lot 28) or the Athletic & Wellness Center Lot (West Lot) or Wallkill Lot (Lot 30) on Friday, April 13, because the Haggerty Administration Building Lot will be closed to accommodate guests from other colleges and universities who will attend an Inaugural luncheon at 11:30 a.m. and the afternoon ceremony and reception. Please note: Employees and students with handicapped tags can park in the Inauguration guest parking lots mentioned above.
IS THERE SHUTTLE SERVICE?
1:15 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. - HAB Mailroom Dock to Old Main Circle and College Hall (academic procession) 3:45 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Old Main Circle to HAB Mailroom Dock
ARRIVAL TIME: Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before your shift.
DRESS CODE: Blue New Paltz polo shirt, Inauguration pin, black pants, comfortable shoes and New Paltz name tag. You may pick up your inauguration polo shirt and inauguration pin in HAB 302, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., beginning Monday, April 9 - Thursday, April 12. Event id/carryalls are also expected to be in at this time.
ATTENDING THE EVENT: As a marshal volunteer, we will reserve balcony seats for you in Studley Theatre.
MUSEUM: Dorsky museum special hours; museum opens at 9:00 a.m.
LIVE STREAMING: The Inauguration will be streamed live in LC 100 for overflow guests. Doors open 2:00 p.m. You may also watch from your computer.
