Wooster Science Building 7 Smart Classroom Instructions

To turn on LCD projector: On the Extron control box, press Display On.  The projector will turn on, reaching maximum brightness in about two minutes.

Lower the electric screen by using buttons on the Extron Box.

The computer, VHS player and document camera have power controls on the respective devices.  There is a 15-pin VGA computer cable (with audio) for easy laptop connection.

To project an image from the computer:
On Extron box, press PC 2.

To project an image from your laptop:
On Extron box, press LAPTOP.  Turn on power for the document camera.  On document camera, press int/ext button once or twice until laptop image appears.

To project an image from the document camera:
On Extron box, press DOC CAM.
Turn on power on the document camera. On document camera, press int/ext button once or twice until the document camera image appears.

To project an image from the VHS video player: On Extron box, press VCR.

Volume is controled by turning the volume knob on the Extron box.

To turn off the LCD projector: On Extron box, press Display Off.
