To turn on the projector: On the control panel on the wall, press the Display ON button. You should hear the fan start. The projector takes a few minutes to reach maximum brightness.
While the projector is warming up, turn on the power to the Computer. If you are using the computer, remember: At the Novell sign-in, follow Academic Computing Department’s instructions to log on. Be sure to log out when you are finished.
Press PC for Computer projection. The button will illuminate.
If the Computer image is not projecting, make sure the document camera is turned off. The power indicator should be RED. If there is still no computer image, push button #1 on the Extron switcher.
To project the Document Camera image, follow the procedure for projecting the computer, then turn on the document camera. If the document camera image is not automatically projected, go to the Extron switcher box, mounted either above or below the surface of the instructor desk, and push button #2.
Screen control is located on the wall. Volume is controlled by the Volume buttons on the control panel.
To turn the equipment off: Press and hold the Display OFF button for about three seconds. The bulb will go off but the fan will continue to run. It will turn itself off when the bulb has cooled. Never touch the ceiling mounted LCD projector. It is alarmed!
Turn off the Computer.
