Be sure there is a clear line of sight between your microphone and the beacon. Press the ON button to pair the microphone with the classroom equipment. When pairing, the green light on the microphone will rapidly blink, and then stop. The microphone will now be ready for use.
The microphone may be worn on a lanyard around the neck, or it may be clipped to clothing with the magnetic clip. The clip is recommended for best sound.
Students' audio will be picked up by the Tandberg microphone with clear plastic housing, located on the ceiling toward the front of the classroom.
Turn on the computer and log in.
Touch the Crestron Capture panel to begin.

Use the Louder or Quieter buttons to adjust the speech volume.

The camera preview screen shows the image of the instructor's station from the camera mounted on the ceiling.

The default recording mode is a Picture in Picture of the computer content, with the instructor in the lower right corner.
If you wish, you can choose the ADJUST MORE button. Your additional options will be:
Side by side – camera and computer
Fullscreen presentation – computer only
Fullscreen camera – instructor's camera only
PIP – picture in picture
After choosing how you want your content recorded, press START RECORDING.

After recording begins, you can mute, pause or stop the capture. The bookmark option is not functional.
When class has ended, press STOP RECORDING. Choose YES.

The Crestron Lecture Capture is now complete. Your presentation will be uploaded to the MediaSite server by IMS staff members. It will be accessible in your class Catalog via a link provided to you.
Remove your microphone. Hold the MUTE button until it blinks red. Put it back in the charger.
At the end of class, please shut off all equipment.
