This classroom contains a Computer, Extron Control Box, Document Camera, DVD/VHS player, Podium Microphone and ports to connect additional equipment like a Laptop. An additional microphone may be ordered from IMS at x3630. Press Display Power to turn on the projector. Green light will flash while projector is warming up. Projected image will be seen on the screen to your right. Note: Do not press Display Power more than once. Wait until light stops flashing before pressing again. VERY IMPORTANT:

To project the Computer: On the Extron box, press Computer. Turn on the computer and use your New Paltz Computer User ID and password to log in. To project the Document Camera: On the Extron box, press Document Camera. Turn on the power to the Document Camera. Items placed on the white surface will be projected onto the screen. To project a Laptop: Press Laptop on the Extron box. Connect your laptop to the VGA and 1/8" mini audio cables, provided on the instructor's desk. Mac computers may need an adapter, provided by the user. |
