Humanities 205, 207, 208, 212 Smart Classrooms Interactive Whiteboard
To Turn on Interactive Whiteboard for Projection:
Press the Power button, located on the bottom left of the whiteboard. It may take a minute before projector has warmed up and reached maximum brightness. Use one of the provided Smart Markers to interact with the Whiteboard.
Please refer to the Instruction Manual in the classroom for Whiteboard use. Or request a training session with an IMS staff member by calling x3633 days or x3639 evenings.
To Turn On the Computer:
Press the Power button on the computer tower. When the computer is powered on, the power symbol will glow green. At the Novell sign in, follow the Academic Computing Department’s instructions and enter your New Paltz Computer User ID and password. Be sure to log out when you are finished.
To Use the Document Camera:
- Press the power button on the document camera.
- Press button 2 on the Extron Switcher box attached below the main desk surface.
To Display a Laptop: Call IMS for assistance. Laptop will be connected through the VGA input on the Document Camera.
DVDs may be played through the computer, using the Power DVD program.
VHS Equipment is not available in this classroom. Please call IMS at x3630 for further information on using your VHS content.
