HVWP PROFESSIONAL WRITING SEMINAR
On April 23-25, 2010, HWVP will sponsor its fourth Professional Writing Seminar for educators at the Soyuzivka Retreat Center in Kerhonkson, NY. Seminar participants will enjoy uninterrupted blocks of time for writing, structured peer response, and consultation with Robert Yagelski, Associate Professor of English Education at SUNY-Albany. This working retreat is designed for educators who have a formed idea/topic for writing about their work, documents to draw on when writing, relevant books or articles, and, ideally, a preliminary working draft. Registration includes writing consultation, two nights lodging (double occupancy) and all meals. Participants may document 15 inservice hours through My.Learning.Plan.com. Register early!
