1 Lincoln’s Birthday is a “floating holiday” for M/C employees, UUP and employees represented by CSEA and PS&T.  Employees in the Security Services and Security Supervisors negotiating units will observe Lincoln’s Birthday as a fixed holiday.

2 Election day will be considered a “floating holiday” unless notified differently.

3 Non-essential staff may take the day off and charge their time with supervisory approval.

* Classes are in session and offices are staffed by UUP, MC, and essential classified employees

Notes:

Eligible veterans and former reservists have certain other options for Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veteran's Day. Employees may inquire in the Payroll Department for more information.

Eligibility for part-time employees to be paid or earn holiday leave may depend on the regular work schedule of the employee, in accordance with bargaining unit agreements.
