COMMENTS
1 Non-essential staff may take the day off and charge their time with supervisory approval.
2 Lincoln's Birthday and Election Day are "floating holidays" (unless notified differently) for M/C employees, non-teaching professional faculty, and employees represented by CSEA and PS&T. Employees in the Security Services and Security Supervisors negotiating units will observe Lincoln's Birthday as a fixed holiday.
* Offices are staffed by M/C, UUP-represented, and essential classified employees
Notes:
Eligible veterans and former reservists have certain other options for Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veteran's Day. Employees may inquire in the Payroll Department for more information.
Eligibility for part-time employees to be paid or earn holiday leave may depend on the regular work schedule of the employee, in accordance with bargaining unit agreements.
