Duties: Campus Public Safety Officers provide communications, security, and public safety services within a 24/7 operation in the University Police Departments at the campuses of the State University of New York (SUNY). Their primary responsibility is to function as a desk officer, performing dispatching activities, and using various databases, online systems, and multiple video sources.

Qualifications: Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
1. Reachable via his/her score on the Campus Public Safety Officer list.
2. Have a current permanent appointment with 1 year of State service as a Campus Public Safety Officer.
3. Hold a State title eligible for 70.1 transfer to Campus Public Safety Officer.
