Duties: Include but will not be limited to: thorough knowledge of all freshman admissions policies and procedures, thorough knowledge of the university and its academic and student support offerings. Regional recruitment travel representing the university to prospective students, their families, the guidance community and other publics. Analyze and participate in the freshman application process; evaluate freshman application credentials to finalize an admission decision in accordance with university policy. Interview and counsel prospective students and parents; participate in on-campus and off-campus presentations to prospective students and parents. Will be responsible for social media specific recruitment and marketing activities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of one year professional admission experience at a selective, accredited college or university. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Clean and valid driver's license required. Ability to work evenings and some weekends. The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively and independently, be creative and self-motivated.
